Dr. Khademazad

Dr. Behrooz Khademazad graduated from University of Rochester with a Bachlor of Science (Dean's List) in Biochemistry in 1982. He continued his education at the Ohio State University Dental School where he graduated with honors in 1986.

In 1987, Dr. Khademazad completed General Practice Residency at Genesee Hospital where he treated medically-compromised patients referred by the Rochester community dental practitioners.

Practice & Research

In 1987, Dr. Khademazad completed General Practice Residency at Genesee Hospital where he treated medically-compromised patients referred by the Rochester community dental practitioners.

In 1988, he started his practice in Grand Prairie, Texas, serving the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and beyond.

Dr. Khademazad's love for dental research started in 1980 at the renowned Eastman Dental Center. His early interest in implants started with research utilizing electron microscope studies in 1984, which explored the bone response to different implant surfaces. These studies were later recognized in a presentation at theInternational Association for Dental Research (IADR) and American Association for Dental Research (AADR) in 1985 in Dallas, Texas.

Continued Education & Research

Dr. Khademazad's education continues today through attending seminars on:

  • Excellence in cosmetic and restorative dentistry series by the world renowned Pete Dawson Institute and Seattle Institute Temporomandibular series by Dr. Mark Piper II
  • Orthodontics by Charles Yates (G. P. Orthodontics)
  • Orthopedics, orthodontics and facial growth & development with Dr. Galeila (International Association of Orthodontics).

Honors & Awards

Dr. Khademazad has won several prestigious awards in the area of dental research. He has also achieved serveral honors, such as:

  • 2012 Texas Doctor Award - Best Doctors and Dentists
  • Published several articles along with Dr. J.D.B. Featherstone.
  • Inventor and patent holder of the Dentomobilometer (also known as a Mobilometer), a dental device which measures the mobility of the object with respect to the securing medium. Want to read more?
